We were in the mood of enjoy on the
Independence Day. We wanted to celebrate this day out of the home so for that
we had many options in our hand wiz Bithoor, new movie, temples etc. A new
movie “Ek Tha Tiger” was released that day but I wanted to know the response
first so we quit this option. Visiting Bithoor easily needs a full day so this
option was also dropped. Keeping option of temples open for any other occasion
we decided to move to the biggest mall of the Kanpur city – Z SQUARE MALL.
Since we have not visited this mall together yet and we had to do some shopping
as well so we decided to enjoy the day at this mall.
We entered the mall
around 2:30 pm on our bike. The 2 wheeler parking was fully packed. There was
hardly any space for new vehicle to be parked. Let me tell you that the parking
area of this mall is very large and separate for 2 & 4 wheels. But
considering the crowd which was there to celebrate the big occasion like us,
the parking area was looking insufficient. Anyhow I parked my Hero Honda
Passion Plus bike however at that time I was wondering about difficulties that
I will face at the time of exit. I also traced one big problem of parking that
there was not even a single mark/identification on any of the walls or pillar
to locate your parked vehicle which makes your work very difficult to find out
your vehicle at the time of leaving the mall. However I looked my bike’s
location very carefully and then we moved towards the lift.
We came to the first
floor by lift. It was a great look there. Well decorated hall, Crowd moving around,
sweet patriotic music, it was really mesmerising. Tricolour balloons, big
artificial trees, great icons of London with Olympic symbol, these all were
creating a great view. Visitors were enjoying the great scenes and excited to
take photographs with their smart phones and digital cameras. We looked at this
all from one place for about 15 minutes and then decided to take a round of the
floor. Many international stores/brands are here wiz. Westside/ she/ biba etc.
After taking the round we decided to move to the ground floor where Future
group’s venture “Big Bazar” is located. We had to do some shopping from here.
We came to the ground floor by escalators. Shreya was little scary about
escalators in the starting but she learnt it very quickly.
After entry-point
checking we entered to the BIG BAZAR. It was even more packed with the crowd.
The last day of super saver offer and celebration time could be the reasons for
this. I have not seen this much of crowd at any store in the last few months.
At one time I was thinking that we have chosen the wrong day for shopping. It
was really difficult to move in the crowd. Anyhow we also mixed up into the
crowd and checked every counter. We finished our shopping there in around 1:30
hrs. After paying the bill through Debit card we came out of the store. Now
after shopping we wanted to take some photographs so we took some photos here
of big artificial trees and then decided to move to first floor again.
On that floor also we
took some photos with Shreya’s Samsung DUOS mobile phone. London Olympic
symbol, Pisa Tower etc were very good things to be in front of while taking
photos. Now the time was around 4:30 pm so we decided to wind up our shopping
for the day. So we took the lift to go to the 2 wheels parking.
At parking we found my
bike easily b’coz it was parked very near to the lift area. It was around 5 pm so
more people were coming inside so it was almost jam condition there. There was
lots of noise/horns/humidity. It was creating panic there. We just wanted to be
out from there as soon as possible. However it took only 7-8 minutes to move
out from there.
Crowd could be the
problem on such occasions but still it’s true that the markets/shops/malls are
fade without crowd. Crowd is the life of these places so definitely we enjoyed
a lot. This type of decoration/ environment/ crowd is not available every time we
move to mall so we had a great time there and it will be in our mind for a long-long
time.
Thanks.
