Our Bithoor Trip - The Whole New Experience

Last week I went to the historical place "Bithoor" , a part of western Kanpur, with my parents and elder brother. However it was my second trip to this place but for my mummy, papa and bhaiya it was first. Before going there they were thinking that Bithoor has only the great Ganga river. But when they saw many things of importance there they were mesmeriesd.

We visited places..
1. Bramha Khoonti
2. Nana Rao Smarak Park
3. Valmiki Ashram
4. Luv-kush Ashram
5. Shidhi Dham Ashram
6. Sai Baba Darbar

Bithoor Ghat

1. Bramha Khoonti  -  This place is just on the bank of Holy Ganga river. It is considered as the place where Bramha Ji did the Yagya to originate this universe. So this place is known as the Origin point of the universe.

2. Nana Rao Smarak Park - Great freedom fighter Nana Saheb Peshwa (Real name-- Dhoo Dhoo Pant) was the dattak putra of Peshwa kiing of a state. After the death of his father English who were ruling in India at that time denied to accept Nana saheb as a succesor and sent him to Bithoor. Nana saheb lived here for the rest of his life. Rani Laxmi Bai(Childhood name- Manu) also came here and take the education of "shastra & Shashtra"  here. At the time of 1857 revolution Nana saheb and Laxmi Bai both played a vital role. The place where both were trained could be seen here.

3. Valmiki Ashram - This is the place where Maharishi Valmiki lived. He wrote  one of the greatest epic of the world  "Ramayana" here only. During her Nirvasan period Maa Seeta stayed here. "Seeta Rasoi" and "Pataal Dwar(from where Maa Seeta enter into the Pataal)" could be seen there.

4. Luv-kush Ashram -  Luv-Kush were born at Bithoor. They got education from Maharishi valmiki here. Here they also cought the horse of Aswamedh yagya that was running by Lord Rama.

5. Shidhi Dham Ashram - This is the ahsram established by Sudhanshu Ji maharaj.
It an splendid place to watch. The place is so big and peacefull that it give you a great relief. The cave to reach Vaishno devi is also designed very well.

6. Sai Baba Darbar -  Here the food is distributed in the form of Prasad every time. Rather than getting sweets there  the devotees get the Sabji-poori(or kachori).

So after visting all these places my mummy, papa and bhaiya were just mesmeriesd. They were still not believing that Bithoor could be this much great place. But anyhow they had to believe. And at the end of this visit I was very satisfied that now almost every person of my family is aware of the greatness of Bitoor, a part of Kanpur. We also decided that after 2-3 months we all will agin visit this place.
